GERDC an affiliate of CPIA is undertaking research in four areas:

  1. A Comparative Study of Sanctions against Rhodesia 1965 – 1980 and Targeted Sanctions Against Zimbabwe 2000-2008
  2. Zimbabwe and the United Nations (This will be the subject for the 2007 General Emmanuel Erskine Annual Lecture for Peace and Security)
  3. The Relationship Between European Union and Zimbabwe 1980 – 2008
  4. A Comparative Study on How Zambia and Zimbabwe Managed Crisis in their Early Years of Independence
Zimbabwe : The Next 25 years

In 2005 CPIA published Zimbabwe-The Next 25 Years, a book that looks at eight themes or topics in the context of Zimbabwe’s first 25 years of independence and what should be done to improve the situation in the next 25 years. The topics covered were Governance; Reconciliation; Foreign Policy; Human Rights, Human Resources; Economy, HIV/AIDS and National Security.

Restructuring and Reform of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe
